Is it possible to set up appointments in the calendar with a default
reminder *time* of 08:00, rather than a reminder *interval* of 4 days, 2
hours, 30 minutes, whatever? I can only see how to be reminded a set number
of hours/minutes/days before the event, but I want reminding at a specific
time.
I want to be reminded of my day's appointments when I get to work in the
morning, and I'm too lazy to work out what reminder interval I need to set
on meetings to get them all to remind me at 08:00. I'd like to set the
default reminder to 08:00 so I can forget about the setting.
*Setting the meeting as an all-day event (as one person suggested) won;t
work, as I use the working-week calendar view, and need my appointments to
shade in their psrt of the vertical timeline, whereas all-day appointments
appear at the top.
*Setting the items as tasks won't work, as tasks don't show up in the
calendar.
*Setting the appointment or its reminder for overnight or the end of the
previous working day (A 'solution' I've seen) just seems stupid - why have
an appointment if you;re going to have to enter the wrong time?
I'm using Outlook XP and Outlook 2003 Preview.
Any ideas? Thanks in advance,
