reminders for flagged emails

I cannot figure out why I am not receiving notification of emails that I
flagged. I entered the date and time that I wanted to receive the notice. The
email and reminder are still showing active.
I checked the HELP feature and microsoft .com troubleshooting and have not
found an answer to the issue.
Does anyone know what I should check?

In what folder to the flagged messages reside?

hi Brian,

they reside in the Outlook folder "for follow up". The flag is still red
and the date and time I specified is still showing.

For Follow Up is not a real folder. It's a search context. You should see
the name(s) of the
folders(s) where the messages really reside listed to the right of the
messages when you open For Follow Up, in the "In Folder" column.
