In the Calendar function of Outlook 2003 SP-2, the user reported whenever she
sets up an appointment, her reminder time is 18 hours beforehand. I checked
her reminder defaults in her calendar – it is set for 15 mins. Here is what
I observed:
If the user creates a new appointment from the menu bar (Actions, New
Appointment), or selects the New Appointment button from the tool bar, the
reminder fields shows 15 mins.
If the user creates an appointment in either the 1 day or 5 day view, the
system correctly shows the selected time; in this case 15 minutes.
If the user creates an appointment in either the 7 day or 31 day view, the
system incorrectly shows the reminder as 18 hours.
Since the user never had the chance to manually change the reminder time,
where is the setting for 18 hours coming from, and how do I change it to use
the calendar option settings?
Thanks
