Reminders reappear when opened in offline mode

I have a few clients finding that if they dismiss and
event or task when they are online, the reminder comes
back again when they take their notebooks offline. I am
unable to find anything in the knowledge base on this,
has anyone seen/fixed this before?

You need to change the syncronisation settings. You need
to make outlook syncronise when shutting down. When the
client is going offline they need to shut down Outlook so
that the syncronisation can occur.

Once the user has gone offline they can then rerun outlook
and their reminders should not come back.

Thanks John,

Except they are set to syncronise when shutting down, we set that by default
for all our users, and I have verified they havent turned it off.

Are tehre any other hidden settings I can play with which relate to reminder
synchronisation?
