Reminders still being sent for tasks that have been re-scheduled/re-assigned/marked 100% complete

My server is sending out reminders for tasks that have been
re-scheduled/re-assigned/marked 100% complete - I'm trying to get my
Resources to buy in to using PWA but they've started ignoring the
reminders because they know they did their updates. I know it too
because I sat with them and showed them how to do the updates in the
Timesheet. Does anyone know where might these reminders be getting
generated from and what do I need to do to correct the issue? I would
appreciate the help.

I displayed the Remaining Work column and all of the tasks have 0 hrs
remaining. I re-published the project.

I suspect this may not be the culprit. Is there anywhere else I can
check?

By chance, did you enter actuals in the Microsoft Project plan? If so, did
you then click Collaborate - Publish - Republish Assignments, click the
"Overwrite actual work entered by resources", and then click the OK button?
Let us know.

I'm pretty sure I did these steps as well, but I've done them again
just in case. I'm only trying this on one project plan right now - the
resource on that plan has left the company and their e-mail account was
deleted. Now, on top of my copy of their daily reminders I'm also
getting an Exchange notification that their reminders are
undeliverable! And my resources think the reminders are annoying....

I will see if this person's reminders are not sent this evening and let
you know.

Thanks!

Well, last night's reminders went out, still being sent to the person
who no longer works here. I deactivated his acct. in PWA, all his
tasks are 100% complete. Any other suggestions?

Thanks
