Hello,
I'm having some odd thing go on with my bosses reminders. First off,
He has two computers, and they both do the same thing, they are both
dell laptop, but one is running w2k and the other is windows xp pro, but
both are running office 2003. On both machines the reminders aren't
reliable at all. Some reminders work perfectly, but others pop up late
or not at all. For example, he has a meeting every tuesday morning at
10:30. It will remind him like it should for 3 week in a row, then the
reminders will just stop working for that appointment for 2 weeks, then
they wills start working again. Funny thing is the 10 o'clock meeting
immediately before it does the same thing, just on a different schedule.
It will stop working at seperate times as the 10:30 meeting does.
Sometimes they both work fine? I'm lost on this one.
Here's what I've done to try to correct it
Ran outlook /cleanreminders
Ran outlook /resetfolders
created a new pst file with new appointments
reinstalled outlook and used another new pst filel with new appointments
We are not running an exchange server, just go ole' POP mail.
Any idea's on this one?
Thanks
Mark
