Reminders window shows ALL future and past reminders

I have a user whose reminders window shows all past and future reminders,
some of them are as many as 38 weeks in the future.
The past reminders have been dismissed and keep popping up. The future ones
always occupy the top of the window causing them to have to scroll down to
find today's.
We have tried the /cleanreminders switch to no avail.
Any ideas?

Yes, and I also tried the /cleansniff switch. The appointments also show in
OWA.
I have looked at each one and they are all set for a 15 minute reminder.
Very strange.

Unfortunately Exchange is not my strong suit...have you tried recreating this
user's profile?
