Reminders

WinXP/OL 2003
1.Starting Outlook with /cleanreminders switch results in Outlook Message:
"Cannot start the Reminder Service. Unable to show reminders."
2. In addition to my regular calendar I have another one with Radio and TV
programs I'd like to tune into. However, these do not appear on the Reminder
list.
How do I correct these?
Thank you.

1) Have you tried running the Inbox Repair Tool on your .PST file to see if
it finds any errors?

2) By default, reminders only fire from the original Inbox, Calendar,
Contacts and Tasks folders in the default mail store (the set of folders
where your mail is delivered). They don't fire from any other folder in the
default mail store, nor will they fire from any folder in a secondary
storage file. However, there are a couple of 3rd party add-ins available at
http://www.slovaktech.com that add reminder functionality to other folders.

Thank you for replying.
Used the Repair Tool on my file, there was on error and repair was
successful, however I am still getting the "Cannot start the Reminder
Service. Unable to show reminders."
What else should I try?

Based on other posts I created a new Profile, imported pst file and I am
back in business with Reminders working. The added benefit was to learn a
thing or two about Profiles, *.pst files and Accounts.

Glad you got it working.
