Remote Console security

I've got a system running a database accessed locally and by remote
desktop using XPUnlimited over XP-Prof.

I am worried about security. I thought I could use a dongle (Aladdin?)
but I can't figure how.

I suppose I would have most problems solved if I could make sure
database was being accessed from a machine having a specific MAC
address or a combination of a dongle and specific MAC address, but
this are just my thoughts. I would like to avoid database being
accessed (case by case) from more than one computer + dongle.

Remote clients are using dynamic IPs and ... please give me some
hints.
