Remote Mail with Exchange server disabled?

Hi,
I try to access my company Exchange server with remote mail and selectively
downloading e-mails.
With Outlook 2007 I am able to download the headers and marked the message
to be downloaded fully. But the menu entries "Process Marked Headers" within
Outlook is not active (greyed out).
Do you know what could be the reason not having this active?

Hi,
I do have exactly the same issue and no solution so far.
How does your configuration look like?
First: I use no OST file, only PST.
Second: I configured my 'Send and Receive' group to work with Remote Mail
only (in order to reduce communication). But the issue also kept exisiting
with the MS Exchange Server setting active.
Did you get any answer so far?

Hi,
will you check this feature using an OST file? It seems like MS has changed
features in this case and therefore don't allow download selectively to the
PST anymore.
Please let me know your results!

Dear Microsoft,
Why did you disable Remote Mail when using PST files? Last versions it was
so convinient not to leave all the message on the server and also being able
to slectively download e-mails.
This feature is only enabled while using OST files.
Too bad!
