I have a Access XP mdb where I use a function to send the
Current Record to Word 2000 with Automation. KB Article:
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=KB;EN-
US;q210271&
The function fills in certain bookmarks on the document
with the corresponding fields on the current record.
The problem I have is with one computer closing out that
document. Usually the user closes the document without
saving. It then goes back to the mdb file. However, for
one user, once in awhile, she gets the following error
after she closes out the document:
462
The remote server machine does not exist or is unavailable.
No matter how many times I click the OK button, the error
pops back up. I have to go into the task manager and kill
the mdb file.
I don't think it's the computer because I've switched out
computers and it still happens. I checked the network
cable and it looks fine. Even when the error msg was up,
I was still able to see the network and browse thru it.
So what could cause this error?
