How may I remove (completely erradicate) an existing discussion
web from a web site? We have been hit hard by freeloaders who
publish their porn, imported drugs, etc. advertisemens, on our
message board. Recently something has happened, making it
impossible to post a Reply to any message. I suspect these
freeloaders have somehow modified one or some of the files in our
web. This may have been intended to block ordinary replies to
their posts, which would tend to be derogatory. Their posts can
still be opened, read, and I suppose one can still follow the
links given in these messages.
I want to delete the entire discussion web, then build a new one
with limited access. What is the proper way to delete and clean
up after removal of the old discussion web? What files do I need
to delete and what settings do I need to modify or clean up?
You may visit our web at http://www.okc-shhh.org if you wish. I
have deleted all the offending freeloader messages, but you can
still see what happens when you try to post a Reply. This opens
the Post New Message screen.
