Removal of Stuck Outgoing Mail

I unfortunately tried to send a large email which my email server will not
allow due to it's size. Now the email is "stuck" in my outbox and cannot be
sent out and numerous tries to delete it have resulted in nothing happening.

Any hints as to how to delete the unsent email?
