Remove a frame

Colin Jeisman

I want to copy some text from a web page and paste it into a Word document.
I now want to remove the frame. In Help it says 1. Click in the frame you
want to remove. When I do this and go to Frames the Delete Frame is not
Highlighted. How do I highlight the Frame?. Also is microsoft.public.word
the correct newsgroup to ask these questions, ie in with the Porn? Can
anyone tell me the name of the correct newsgroup for questions about
Microsoft Word?.

This newsgroup is okay for questions about Word. It sounds to me like what
YOU are calling a Frame and what Word calls a Frame are two different
things. More than likely, what you're copying from the web is, in fact, a
table. You can click inside, hit Table-Select table, and then Table-Convert
table to text. Or, probably better yet, after you copy from the web, go to
Word and use Edit-Paste special-Unformatted text.

Hope this helps!
