Remove a program and re-install

Hugh

My Excel program is not performing properly since I
installed a security program. I wanted to remove the
installed version of Excell and re-install it but cannot
find Excel in the list of program in the add/remove box.
How do I seperated the Excel program from the "Microsoft
Office 2000 Professional" shown in the list?

Your help is greatly appreciated.

First, I'd bet that there are lots of shared resources (DLL's) between the
components in MSOffice.

You could use Add/Remove and uncheck all the excel related options.

But you may want to just remove all of office and reinstall the pieces you want.

this may be of some use:

You may want to post the bad behavior. Maybe someone has a tip that could help
you.

What security program? Why do you think it is Excel causing the problem since
it just started after you installed a different program?

Would you cut your foot off because the new pair of shoes pinch your feet or
would you take the shoes off?
