Remove Activation Assistant?

How can I uninstall the Office 2007 Activation Assistant, which was
pre-installed on my computer (Vista Home Basic)? I do not intend to install
any Office 2007 products, and I would like to remove the unnecessary
Activation Assistant. But it refuses to uninstall from the Add/Remove
programs dialog. What is the technique to fully remove this program?
