Remove add-ins in Word 2007

Chris

Hi,

I cannot seem to remove an add-in in Word 2007. I have un-installed the
program (SnagIT 8.2) from my machine that is responsible for the add-in.
However, it still appears in Word's list of Add-ins. And when I try to
remove it using the Add-in Manager, Word crashes.

Any advise please?
Thanks
Chris

SnagIt 8.2 installs its add-in from the folder C:\Program
Files\TechSmith\SnagIt 8
If you had Word (and probably Outlook) open when you uninstalled, it
wouldn't be able to remove this file. If you close all Office apps you
should be able to delete this file.
SnagIt 8 is one of the most useful tools on my PC. I can't imagine
uninstalling it?

I was able to uninstall SnagIT, but I am unable to remove the add-in from
Word even though the files does not exist on the file system in C:\Program
Files\TechSmith\SnagIt 8

I also tried re-installing SnagIT, but this still causes Word to Crash.

I believe SnagIT is the culprit because everytime I go into Word and try to
remove the Snag IT plugin it crashes Word.
