Remove all formating

Kim

When clearing all formating from some text, how do I change what font,
size and other formating it should return to ?
The typography is named "Normal". Default font is "Arial", size 10 and
style regular.

I have been unable to find an option, in settings, to change it and
changing the "Normal.dot" or "Normal.dotm" is not an option.

Need this information for both Word 2003 & 2007.

Hello Kim,

It sounds to me that you want to change the settings in the Normal.dot
file.

If this is correct, here's what to do:

1. Search for this file on your computer. It could be in C:\Program
Files\Microsoft Office\

2. Open Normal.dot in Word.

3. Change the settings and save. For example, change Times Roman to
Arial.

4. Close Word and exit.

The next time you open Word, you're settings will reflect the changes
you made.

Hope that helps.

Regards,

Ivan
