How do I remove an incorrect path for an item from the Open Recent Database
panel on the right side of the opening screen in Access 2007?

One way would be:
Start - execute - regedit
then HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\XY\Access\Settings

There you find MRU1, MRU2 and so on. Doubleclick the one you want to
modify.

You can also delete one, but then you should renumber the following
ones, because Access stops listing them when it finds a hole.

This works for Access 97 and 2000 (XY=8.0 and XY=9.0)
2007 should have XY=11.0

Access 2007 is 12.0 (Access 2002 was 10.0, Access 2003 was 11.0)

The next version will be 14.0 (yes, Microsoft's superstitious!)
