remove an outline code field

We have some fields we have not used and they have value list. They have
been populated in some projects in our enterprise environemtn but we don't
use this and would like to remove or delete them. Enterprise Project Outline
Code 4 is one of them and it is also visible in the project information box.
How do I go about making it not visible in the project information box and
can I delete it as long as we don't want to preserve any history that may
have been populated in this field?

Do the following:

1. Click Tools - Enterprise Options - Open Enterprise Global.
2. Click Tools - Organizer.
3. Click the Fields tab.
4. In the list on the right side of the dialog (in the Enterprise Global
file), select a field or outline code to delete.
5. Click the Delete button.
6. Repeat steps 4-5 for each field or outline code you want to delete.
7. Click the Close button.
8. Save and close the Enterprise Global.
9. Exit and relaunch Project Professional and ask your PM's to do this as
well.

The next time the OLAP cube rebuilds, any Project outline codes you deleted
will be gone. Hope this helps.
