Remove and save music from PPS files?

Terry

I receive quite a large number of PPS files from friends. Many have
music embedded in them. I know how to open the PPS file and remove the
music or change it to something else. What I don't know is how to
locate, remove and save the embedded music file itself. Is that
possible? Or am I looking for something that just isn't there? Thank
you.

Open the file in PowerPoint (so you are in Normal View) and save the file
as a Web page (*.html), not a Single file Web Page (*.mht). It will create
a folder with all the associated media, including pictures and sounds.

Thank you very much! That's certainly a simple procedure, but I'd never
have found it if you hadn't told me about it.)
