Remove archived project from Open list in Pro

We now have hundreds of projects on the server, which is making it hard for
users to find their projects when they go to open it. Is there any way to
hide projects so that archived projects do not show up in the list? I am well
aware of Dale's references to
http://www.projectserverexperts.com/Shared Documents/ArchiveCompletedProjects.htm,
but this does not solve the problem--to my understanding it merely prevents
them from opening archived projects, but the projects still show up in the
list. Any ideas?

I added an "Enterprise Project Outline Code" and then added that as a filter
to the projects page.

You could add a value like "current" to each current project, and "archieve"
to each old project.

This way, all the projects are still in the database for reporting purposes,
but don't appear in the selction list on the projects page in PWA.

I hope this helps.

You are in error, my friend. The process hides the archived projects in
both Microsoft Project Professional and in the Project Center page in PWA.
Hope this helps.
