Remove Duplicate Contacts?

There is a "remove duplicates" option in Apple Address Book that you can use.

FYI, sync services in 10.5 between Entourage 2008 and Address Book is
very broken. I have had very poor luck with it. Some simple address
books seem to work well with it while larger more complex address books
have a very hard time.

To get rid of duplicates use one of the scripts to remove duplicates.

Thanks Diane, the duplicates worked. Find and Delete Old contacts worked
sort of... I found too many contacts with which I have had recent
correspondence... Unless it cannot distinguish when merged contacts does
something to reset correspondence...

I gave up and unchecked the sync to Address Book. Some things are just
too hard and not worth the effort.
