Remove empty cells from rows that contain data

Version: 2008 Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard) I just looked at my previous post and the example was incorrect.
I have many rows of data that contain columns that have no data at all (are empty). Is there any way that I can remove these empty cells and produce a result without the empty cells.
For example
Row 1 has values in columns A,B,D,F,G...Columns C and E are empty
Row 2 has values in columns B,E,F..........Columns A, C and G are empty

I want Row 1 to have it's 5 values in 5 columns only and not 7 coulmns
and Row 2 to have it's 3 values in 3 columns and not spread across 7.

Thanks

Allan

Try this on a backup copy, but I think it will do as you wish;

Select the range of content you want to have "consolidated",
Go to Edit> Got To then click the Special button & click Blanks, OK,
Go to Edit> Delete, select Shift Cells Left, OK

How's that workout?
