Remove extraneous profile - avoid Choose Profile screen on startup

I had a problem with my main Outlook file. I ran a recovery program on it,
and set it up as a separate profile. Now, whenever I start Outlook, it brings
up a Choose Profile window and asks me to select a profile. There's only one
choice - my "repaired" profile - and that's what I select.

I'd like to fix the setup so that the repaired profile is my default profile
and I don't have to go through the extra step every time I start Outlook.
I've tried selecting Options on the Choose Profile window, and checking the
"Set as default profile" box, but nothing changes - I still have to go
through the Choose Profile screen every time I start Outlook.

How can I install the "repaired" Outloook file as my main file?

I'm using Outlook 2003.
