Remove 'Favorite Folders' from Outlook 2003

How I remove the 'Favorite Folders' section of the Navigation pane? I have
removed all the items listed but it still remains with the request to 'Drag
your Favorite Folders here'. I simply don't want a 'Favorite Folders'
section and is the sort of item that MIcrosoft should have made optional
(easily if it is but I can find how to do it!)
