Hi all,
i have the following problem in an ADP-file.
There's a form bound to a view. If i do not sort this form - by hand -
at any field, filtering is really slow. The reason for that is Access
is retrieving the data again. The weird thing is, that if you do sort
the form at any field, filtering is quite fast because nothing is
retrieved again from the server but it's all done locally. Has anyone
an idea about this?
What also is really frustrating, is the fact that the same form has
mulitple instances. Whenever i start a new instance and then go back
to the previous form, the filter of that form won't remove by clicking
on the remove filter button. It does however set the FilterOn property
to false, and the me.recordset.recordcount property says all the 7000
records are in the recordset but... i only see one????
I've searched through the forum but i didn't find anything like this.
I think these 2 problems are somehow related with each other.
Does anyone has experienced similar behaviour like this or some clue
of whats going on?
