Remove manual formatting from numbered/bulleted lists.

Sharon S.

I found a macro (paste unformatted text)that allows me to
copy text from one document to another removing all
formatting in the process. However, in numbered and
bulleted lists the numbers and bullets remain. The only
way to remove them is to manually delete them. Does
anyone have a macro that will remove the numbers/bullets
automatically? This would be a real timesaver.

Thanks.

Hi Sharon,

Use a wildcard Edit>Replace with

^13[0-9]{1,}^t

in the find what box and put ^p in the replace with box.

See the article "Finding and replacing characters using wildcards" at:

http://www.mvps.org/word/FAQs/General/UsingWildcards.htm

Please post any further questions or followup to the newsgroups for the
benefit of others who may be interested. Unsolicited questions forwarded
directly to me will only be answered on a paid consulting basis.

Hope this helps
