Remove Office 2003 and Updates

Have recently found out that my copy of Office 2003 which was on my notebook
when I purchased it 4 years is not genuine. Am tearing my hair out here as
each time I try to remove it from ADD/REMOVE progs I keep getting the message
that a patch failed to initialize and to contact the vendor???? I then tried
deleting it directly folder by folder from prog files but one dll file cannot
be removed nor can any of the updates. Can anyone help???????????

If you deleted the program files then all that is left to try is manually
editing the registry to remove all office remains / entries
