I inadvertantly moved a copy of Office 2003 from an old computer to a new one
(via PC Relocator Ultra Control software). After attempting to install a new
copy of Office XP (purchased through an employee home use program – not sure
why they sent Ofc. XP, but it will do), the new version conflicted with the
old. I removed the Office XP, but cannot remove the Office 2003. I do not
have install discs for the Office 2003, but I do for the Office XP.
Is there any way to purge the Office 2003 so I can install the Office XP
without a conflict? Operating system is Windows XP, SP2. System restores
did not work, ‘Add or Remove Programs’ Change/Remove did not work, and I'm
pretty stuck.
Once I get the Office 2003 removed, I want reinstall the Office XP.
