Remove Office XP Pro without CD

Hi there all you helpful people...
My problem:
I need to comletely remove Office XP Pro.
My PC (Win2000 Pro) came pre-installed with Office XP
Pro, a (still shrinkwrapped) Office Pro CD was also
supplied.
When trying to completely removing Office XP Pro, the
unistall procedure asks for a CD containing a PRORET.MSI
file. However, the supplied CD contains PROPLUS.MSI and
consequently the uninstall process will not work.
The retailer has since gone out of business...
How do I get rid of Office XP?
