Remove shading from a printed calendar

L

Laird Reed

In Outlook 2002, I have unchecked the box for gray
shading and am still getting the shading of appointments
when printing out the calendar. Printer is an HP 2200

Any help would be appreciated

Dear Laird,

Thank you for posting.

This issue can be caused by a corrupt OutlPrnt file. Let us try the
following steps to check the issue on the computer:
1. Close Outlook. Show the hidden files on your computer.
2. Go to the following folder:
C:\Documents and Settings\<your user accunt name>\Application
Data\Microsoft\Outlook
3. Find a file called OutlPrnt in this folder. Delete this file from your
computer.
4. Restart Outlook and try to print again. This file will be recreated.
Please then check how things go.

If the issue persists on the computer, please create a new user account on
your computer.
Log into the new user account and then create the Outlook account and check
if the gray shading will still take effect during printing or not.
The reason I recommend to perform this step is to check if this is a
printer driver issue or incorret profile setting.

Please keep me posted on how things go. Have a nice day!

Sincerely,

Lee Li
