Vladimir,

Have a look at this article:

http://blogs.msdn.com/visio/archive/2006/07/21/673305.aspx

This explains how to create a shape that shows and hides various geometry
bits.

There is also the article; "The Hidden World of Visio Shapes" on my website,
"Visio Guy", which explains how to show/hide many different parts of a Visio
shape:

Hope this helps,

You can't add or delete shapes using the Shapesheet. You can only trigger
the NoShow and HideText cells on shapes to make them appear hidden.

If I understand you correctly you have a group shape with one or more 'sub'
shapes
and you want to delete one of the 'sub' shapes?

use -> View -> Drawing Explorer Window
navigate to the 'sub' shape in the tree and right click and use delete
shape.
