Not a happy bunny
Have a 4 server Citrix/Terminal Server farm. Office XP was installed with all
the speech/handwriting recognition parts left turned on.
I need to remove/disable this(ctfmon) to fix a number of “performanceâ€
issues caused by it.
Was going to run through KB326526. Problem with this is that I would need to
logon as every user and make some changes via control panel/task manger.
Apart from taking ages, there are a number security polices that block users
running control panel etc.
See the problem I have.
Any ideal how I may get around this?
Any easier ways of killing CTFMON? Read about renaming ctfmon.exe, but this
related to Office2k & 2003. Does it work with OfficeXP and is it safe?
Thanks for your help
