Remove style from "Styles in Use", Word 2004

Hello,

We are on Mac's and using Office 2004.

My question is how can I create new styles and NOT have them appear in the
Styles in Use drop down box.

We use three levels of bullets but would like to create 3 more levels but
not show them. I know how to do this on the PC but not Mac Office 2004.

Thanks
Rob

Hi Rob:

Can't be done, sorry. Mac Office 2004 does not implement the StyleVisible
feature.

Closest you can come is to create the styles in the document template. They
will then not appear in Styles in Use until they actually have been used in
the document.

On the other hand, once they HAVE been used in the document, they will
ALWAYS appear in the styles list, regardless of the fact that the document
no longer contains text with that style.

Sorry...
