Unless there's something you aren't disclosing, deleting a TOC is no
different than deleting anything else ‹ select it then press the delete key.
If for some reason that isn't working you'll have to provide a much more
comprehensive description of of what the problem is. Make sure to indicate
exactly how you're attempting to delete it, what happens when you try, as
well as the exact update level of Office plus detail about the structure &
file type of the document.
