Remove the blue vertical lines from forwarded email?

Is there a way to remove the blue vertical lines prior to forwarding an email
in MS Office 2003 and 2007?

If you change to plain text and there are photos or other graphics it removes
all of them forever, how do you deal with that? There is a simple fix in
outlook express that does not work in Outlook.

change the message format to plain text before forwarding or set your
forwarding options to include but not prefix.

I think what you want is what Diane said in the part about "set your
forwarding options to "include" but not "prefix".

Go to:
Tools
Options
Preferences tab
Email
Email options

Half way down on that is the section entitled:
On Replies and Forwards

There you will see on Forwards that you have it set to
Prefix each line of original message

Change that to
Include original message text

And that will make sure those blue lines don't appear anymore.
