remove user-lever security

What I did: I used the user-level security wizard. I printed the Security
wizard report. After the wizard was complete I no longer had access to my
data base. When I open the data base it asks for a name and password I enter
my name and password, from the instructions I have read it says to go to user
and group permissions. However this is grayed out and I can select it.

Question: How do I remove the security so that I can gain access once more?

Common mistake...Your password is blank when you try to go in the first
time. What many think is their password is actually the "Personal ID:" that
you entered when you created your new account. Try your account with a
blank password. If that lets you in THEN you can go into the security menu
to change your password.

Lazco,
I had a similar problem, if you haven't found a solution yet, read the
solution Joan Wild provided me with on october 11 Subject: How to remove
Security from Access 2002
Good luck, hope that works for you.
