Remove WSS Install?

When we first installed WSS it installed locally on the webserver (msde) and
we need to move the db to our production sql box.

We don't really have anything on there... but we do have project server
projects. Can we uninstall / reinstall WSS without causing problems with our
Project Server install?

Hi

If you don't have to save any documents, risks or issues, then there is no
problem in removing WSS. It won't remove any projects or the like.

WSS can then be installed as a server farm (connecting to a SQL server), but
you have to make some configuration adjustments to make Project Server work
with WSS. Read the Project Server 2003 Installation Guide for more detail
(search for it at microsoft.com).
