Removed Resources, but Still Showing in PWA

I'm using Project Pro 2003 and PWA 2003. I just removed a resource from a
project using Project Pro and then I published the project. I log in as that
resource and they still have access to those tasks. Why is this? Shouldn't
those tasks have the delete icon in their indicators column?

The resource should see those tasks as deleted if everything worked as it
should.

Try opening the project plan again and making sure the resource is not
longer assigned to any tasks on the project, make sure you deleted the
enterprise version of that resource and not a local version of that
resource. If there were any actuals posted for that resource you should
have received a warning that actuals will be deleted.

Then try to re-publish the assignments again and verify that the xml file is
processed successfully in the View Drop folder on the server.

A better approach in the future might be for you to change the booking type
of that resource on the project from Committed to Proposed. This way the
assignments will be removed from the resources task list and you will not
lose any historical task data.

Still no luck. I had to go in as that user and just hide those tasks. Pretty
screwy if you ask me.
