Removing any macro code from a Word document

Howdy
I hope this is an appropriate Word group.
How do I remove any macro code from a Word document? I've pasted in some
tables with radio buttons that I copied from a webpage, and now upon opening
the document it asks me to enable or disable macros - problem is I don't
even want them in there. How do I remove them? I did a search on the MS
website with no luck.
Thanks
Matt

Hi Matt

To remove the macros go to Tools>Macro>Macros then
highlight the macros then select the delete button.

To ensure all macros are deleted (some may be in VB) goto
Tools>Macro>Visual Basic Editor then
Select the Modules node to open up the directory
Highlight the New macro directory then right click mouse
and select delete.

If you want to save these in another directory for later
use do so at the prompt.

Hope this helps

Thanks Tony
There was no macros in the first place you said - I had already checked
there actually .
As for the second place, I haven't look at VB in Word for ages, so I'm
unsure how to 'select the modules' node as you describe or which directories
you're referring to. Do you mean the node tree on the left? If so, I can't
see anything that says 'new macro'? I can't see any items that look specific
to the document there either...
I've got Office XP if that makes a difference.
Thanks again
Matt
