removing asian + complex language options in word 2003

Hi ,

I have a user accessing Word over citrix client and whenever they open any
document or create new documents their list of styles has 3 copies for each
style - english, 'asian', and 'complex'

For example when they select ttext they have options for the "english' font,
the asian "font" and the "complex font"

The user only requires ENGLISH. How to get rid of these options? English is
the only 'enabled' language in office language settings...

I've searched google and ms support and can't seem to find how we can remove
these options.

It's possible that something is 'stuck' in the language settings, either in a master (per machine) setting or for that profile or in
a template that is in use..

Assuming that the profile can write to the registry to have changes 'stick'

With all of the Office 2003 apps closed, in Start=>Programs=>Microsoft Office Tools
use the Language Settings tool to add a Far East language then close then reopen the Language Settings Tool and remove the languages
you don't want then restart Word (both normally and in Office safe mode [holding down the ctrl key]) and see if that still occurs.

Thanks for your response

The setting is stored in the user's Terminal Services Profile, as renaming
the profile, creating new one, and copying back necessary data fixed the
problem.

Running under Citrix we don't have access to registry settings or Microsoft
Office Tools....

I'm wondering now ---- which files store this information , so if the
problem occurred again can we just delete the appropriate files?
