Removing Beta Version of 2007 office to install full release versi

I can't install my MS Office 2007 Enterprise release version because I keep
getting the error message that upgrading from a prerelease version is not
supported. Here is what I've done without success:
1. Followed Knowedgebase article 927222 and removed all beta software.
2. Used regedit to remove all references to MS office 12.
3. Physically deleted all folders containing any of the installation of 2007
beta.

What is left to be done? I can't find any references to beta versions left
on the computer.

Look for the .pdf converter and Web Expressions beta - remove them as well. Look through your Add/Remove programs and take out anything that is beta related.

Expression Web Beta 1?
The pdf/xps add-ins?
See the RTM Issues page linked below. It might list a few more programs
than that KB.

I followed all the procedures you outlined and finally got the installation
program to begin. However, it gets as far as the "installation progress"
frame and then drops out and gives the error message "Office 2007
installation cannot continue." Any idea where I go from here????
