Removing Blank Pages in Word XP?

This is probably absurdly simple, but I can't easily see how to do this.

I have a Word (Office XP) document, that for the first 5 pages, I've cleared the text.
Now I want to delete those blank pages. How do I do it?
I searched Help for "deleting a blank page", "removing pages", but there
is no info on it.

If you have really deleted everything, including formatting, Word will
automatically repaginate so that the pages are gone.

Also, turn on the formatting marks so that you can actually see the page
breaks or other characters which are there but may be hidden. Seeing
these marks helps you figure out what's happening.

Hope this is useful to you. Let us know.

Well, I just hit the delete key, and adios blank pages. I knew it would
be too simple. I was assuming you had to find some menu option
to delete the blank pages.

Thanks.

Well, they tried to make it harder but couldn't find ways ... glad you
got it sorted.
