Removing Comments from a Word Document?

Hello,

I have a document with a large number of comments in it. Does anyone know
if there is a way to remove/delete them all at once rather than having to do
them one at a time? I am using Word 2000.

You could delete the text of all comments at once:

menu View/View Comments

then Edit/Select All

and press backspace.

This deletes all text of all comments but doesn't delete the
comments themselves. You'll end up having empty comments :-(
