removing content of cell(s) -- with keyboard...

hi,

I have Excel 2008... I find only way to remove content from a cell
or cells is go thru edit menu.. delete key does not work.. (I'm on a
powerbook, so there's only one delete key, in upper right-hand corner
of keyboard (the one that you use to erase backwards when you're
typing..) is there any way to remove cell(s) content with one
keystroke, instead of having to do edit > clear > all every time??

I'm on a macbook pro.. it's fn-delete.....

I get control-b deletes content, command-b does bold. Also on a MacBook
Pro. Is it something that can be manually set somewhere?
