Your instructions on the Do More Than Manage site are way too much work and
are actually incorrect. Here is what the user needs to do:

1. Open the Enterprise Global
2. Click Tools - Customize - Enterprise Fields
3. Click the Fields tab
4. Select the field in question and click the Delete button
5. Click Close
6. Save and close the Enterprise Global file
7. Close and relaunch Microsoft Project Professional

Hope this helps.

Bella, Gord and Dale are two of the most knowledgeable folks on the board,
but they're both having brain farts!.. note my corrections to Dale's
procedure where the extra >>>> characters appear.
1. Open the Enterprise Global
say "checked out Enterprise Global" and click the Delete button
5. Click Close
6. Save and close the Enterprise Global file
7. Close and relaunch Microsoft Project Professional
