Removing deleted tasks from PWA

We currently run a script to remove tasks that were deleted from the project
plan from a user's task list in PWA. The Project Server default is to leave
these items in PWA so the user can see what was deleted, but over time, these
task can grow and clutter the task list, especially when many changes are
being made to the project plan. Is there an easier way than running this
script on a weekly basis to remove these tasks from the user's task list in
PWA?

I believe your choices are limited to:

1. Ask the users to manually hide each cancelled task by selecting each
task and clicking the Hide button
2. Running the SQL script, either manually or automatically

You can ask your DBA's to set up the script to run automatically on a weekly
cycle to simplify things. Hope this helps.
