Removing enterprise fields

After deleting Project Enterprice Outline and Date fields, the fields are
gone in Project Pro, and when creating views. But the views themselves
still show values in the date fields, and numbers in the outline fields
(foreign keys to the deleted values). The date fields are a problem as users
may rely on the deleted information.

How can this be corrected?

Steve:

You should republish all your projects after making a change like this.
You'll need to remove the fields from the view definitions in Project Web
Access by going to Admin > Manage Views and changing the affected views.

Gary:

Republishing all perojects will be cumbersome for us - we have over 1500 of
them. I did republish 1 project. As a result the field name changes to
'Enterprise Project Date n'. While the dates still appear, at least users
will not relate them to the old name. This will give us time to remove them
from all of the views we have.
