Removing Excel/office from an XP profile

Hi. Something has been corrupted in my Excel in on of my User Accounts. I'm
running XP Pro. I know the problem is with the setup on that Account because
the problem just started on with this particular Account and I do not have it
when logged in under another Account. To confirm this, I created a new User
Account and launched Excel and after configuring Excel (Name, initials, etc.)
it worked perfectly. Is it possble to trick the system so that it thinks
Excel/Office has never been launched? This would save a lot of time over
recreating a new ID. I have asked about the specific problem yesterday, but
still have not had any suggestions. Maybe this approach will be easier.
Thanks for any help.

Under the help section of Excel, if you can open it run the Detect and
Repair. if that doesn't work then do the following below:

If you have full user and admin rights to the PC, just uninstall Excel from
the profile that is corrupt. That should fix it, you may or may not have to
reinstall Excel from CD, but I would imagine that you have the install files
on your hard drive so that will be a non issue.
